In this Papal Snapshot, we begin our dive into the works of Theodore Abū Qurrah, an 8th-century bishop who wrote an extraordinary Arabic defense of the papacy and the infallible authority of the Church against heretics who rejected it.
Thank you to Dr. John Lamoreaux, the English translator of Theodore’s works, for his very generous permission to freely quote his translations.
Thank you @FlorianiSacredMusic for allowing us to use your beautiful “Anima Christi” sacred chant in our intro: https://youtu.be/Qg47g9RE8e4?si=0kaXPEpFn4y_KtFJ
