Biography
Keith Nester is the Executive Director of Down to Earth Ministry.
Down to Earth is a teaching ministry that provides resources and encouragement to those considering, converting, and growing in the Catholic Faith.
Keith is a former pastor/youth pastor with more than 20 years of full-time ministry experience. Keith has served in various roles in United Methodist, Assemblies of God, and Evangelical Free churches.
In 2017, after a 20-year-long discernment process, Keith resigned from his full-time ministry position and joined the Catholic Church. Keith is the author of 2 books, The Convert’s Guide to Roman Catholicism: Your First Year in the Church and Unpacking the Mysteries of the Rosary.
Through the ministry of Down to Earth, Keith continues to use his preaching gifts to speak in Churches and events about faith, theology, and his journey to Catholicism. Keith is also very active on YouTube, making videos and other content, bringing the truths of the Catholic Faith to the world in his unique style.
In his spare time, Keith loves to ride his Indian Motorcycle and spend time with his family and friends. Keith and his wife Estelle have three adult children and live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
