Biography
Dr. Alan Fimister is a native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England. He read Modern History at Hertford College, Oxford University and was later elected Senior Scholar in Theology at Exeter College. He studied Catholic Theology and later taught at the International Theological Institute in Austria and took his PhD at the University of Aberdeen on the influence of Thomistic political theory on early European integration. He has taught Theology, History, Catholic Social Teaching, Church History and Patrology in Austria, Britain, and the United States. He has published on European Political History and Thomistic Political Philosophy.
